The-Future-Title-GIF-WhiteGrowing up in Sydney, Jerry first found music as an escape from a city and culture where he didn’t seem to fit in. Working a nine-to-five, he interacted with corporate types who could never live the same experiences as he had, and began questioning his own legacy.

Like many first and second generation Australians, Jerry always felt an obligation to his family, but he couldn’t shake off the feeling that there was something more out there—something only he could create.

Despite his previous career in architecture, it was in this resolve that Jerry decided to take a risk; diving headfirst into his own sonic world as Ijale, studying Music Production at Collarts.
